COSMIC. COZY. CREEPY.
Celestial, cosmic, out of this world… oh my! You will surely be like Dorothy, “not in Kansas” anymore, with these spacey, spooky decor ideas that will transcend you to the stars.
Constellations, crystals, stars, salt rocks, moons, purple lights, potion bottles, spell books, crystal balls, fortune telling… this moody, eccentric theme will be sending you straight to the cosmos, a bag of candy corn in hand.
Cosmos and Candlesticks
I love using these black candlestick holders not JUST for actual candles, but to elevate decor and provide depth on my entryway table.
For Halloween, I created several different ideas to keep these seasonally fresh. First, a moon shaped salt rock and a celestial patterned pumpkin capture the eye atop the holders. Keep scrolling for more :)
Even large pumpkins, like this black, constellation patterned beauty, can look gorgeous on these candlestick holders. And check out the cow print catchall filled with… yep, CRYSTALS. Could you think of anything better to “store” in there?
Look at all we can do with candlesticks, nix the candles! Instead of pumpkins, use candle holders for LARGE crystals! Show them off with the extra elevation, and you will surely get super cosmic vibes mixed in with your fall decor.

Moonlit Backdrop
I made a super cozy corner in my home office with this black Room Divider, purple lights and a Moon wall hanging from HomeGoods.
(room dividers are perfect corner fillers in rooms, as you have the option to layer decor, lights, lean pictures against them… the opportunities are endless!)
Adding a basket of warm lights and mini pumpkins, lit lanterns and a fur rug, this space got super cozy yet completely centered around the moon.
The saying says it all! Found this eye-catching, vintage print on Pinterest… and was automatically in awe!
It pulls you in, creating a celestial, charismatic ambience, along with the beckoning vintage hand resting in front of the picture, and the mosaic glass orbs, giving off major Crystal Ball vibes.
My mom and I found this vintage “jewelry holder” hand in an antique store when I was very young. I’ve kept it safe ever since, as it’s super fragile and appears to be from the early 1900’s!
Madame Majika… Cosmic Queen!
I purchased this super cute sign from Target last season, advertising special “Enchantments & Spells.”
Adding an irridescent pumpkin, potion bottles, and mood lighting from the salt rock, we have ourselves a cozy bookcase corner with celestial charm.
TIP: Extending a theme into two bookcase sections like this helps your decor flow better and not seem so seperate and divided.
Spellbinding Corner
This group of moody, spellbinding items is situated on my dining room buffet. The centerpiece is a vintage silver serving dish, filled with miniature crystals.
The towering black lace vases were kept from my celestial themed wedding last year! I will be posting a blog all about my wedding & decor in the weeks to come. Let’s just say I am reusing that decor throughout my house all the time and I LOVE it!
I got these mini crystals off of Etsy! They were also bought in bulk for decor used at my wedding last year.
Cozy, Cosmic Big Chair
I love styling my big chair in the living room with newness for each season!
I found this celestial themed pumpkin blanket at HomeGoods last year (what a find!)
Up close, you can see I have styled it for an entertaining occasion, with star engraved vintage cocktail glasses! Only $1 a piece at a vintage store this past summer! ;)
I Put a Spell on You
Everyone knows this iconic phrase, and it happens to fit perfectly with this blog’s theme!
This sign is one of my favorite Halloween pieces, and along with the metallic star and moon banner, my fireplace was all set to fly into the cosmos!

“Cosmo”politans Anyone?
Using my great grandmother’s vintage Chip n’ Dip bowl, I created the cutest disco ball bath for Dean, the skeleton!
A color changing Salt Rock added a magical effect that is undeniably “other worldly.”

Of course topping it off with crystals was a must! You can probably see by now, crystals are a go-to for me! They are versatile, beautiful, and soooo…. cosmic!
